Receiving a “No” Eloquently Builds Higher Self-Esteem – Week 7
09 July 2015
Over the past few weeks we have discussed, learning
how to say NO, learning when to say YES which leads us nicely into this week’s
post……. “How to eloquently receive a NO.”
A lot of women have trouble coping when someone says
no to them. They take it personally, especially if the “no” comes to them on a
professional basis – from asking for a promotion or in a sales environment.
But you can view a “no” as an opportunity to grow.
Remember, we will always learn more from a perceived negative situation than we
ever will from a positive situation.
It's a great step to truly "Love Yourself",
become your own best friend and create high self-esteem.
Also, when we take things personally we can waste a
lot of time and energy worrying about it as opposed to quickly asking
ourselves, “What am I meant to learn
here, how can I grow from this experience?”
Value of a Receiving a ‘No’
A couple of things to think about when you receive
your next NO are:
A NO helps us remain humble and grow.
See a NO as an opportunity to expand and
heal. As it integrates inside of you, then you’ll get to share with others so
we all grow and evolve.
Receive the NO with elegance. Be elegant
– don’t get depressed or mad or shut down or run away. Elegance is to tenderly
and humbly and somewhat joyously be in the moment.
The No allows for an opportunity for
many YES’s based on synchronicity, based on You getting WISER, and then everything
in your life aligns even more.
Also if you are receiving a lot of ‘No” here is a great
affirmation you may like to adopt;
“I am building my self-esteem and I acknowledge
my self-worth; I am confident in who I am and who I am becoming. I know any
obstacle placed in my way is there so I may continually grow.”
With Gratitude and Joy
