Get a mentor and support families out of poverty
15 February 2016
It has been said that one conversation with the right person can change your career. And that same hour can also make a real difference to the lives of those living in poverty. How - with this new campaign devised by ChildFund Australia called Mentor Me.
ChildFund Australia’s MentorMe Auction is an online auction, where bidders can compete for an hour long mentoring session with one of 10 high profile Australian business leaders. From the 2nd to the 16th March 2016, you will have the opportunity to win a chance to meet and spend time with a leader of Australian business. Mentors include advertising and marketing guru Todd Sampson, Carnival Australia Executive Chairman and Australian Financial Review and Westpac top 100 Women of Influence Ann Sherry, and LinkedIn Managing Director, Cliff Rosenberg, to name but a few.
If you are an up and comer in your industry, or a leader looking for an edge, the lessons you can learn with these mentors will be invaluable. All of the mentors have a story to tell, and tips and tricks to share.
Add to this the fact that the proceeds from the MentorMe Auction will support ChildFund projects, and provide support such as micro loans and business mentoring to families living in extreme poverty and everyone’s a winner.
You get to pick the brain of your chosen business hero, and help families and children in developing countries to create and grow their businesses.
