Westpac and Sydney Opera House stage international takeover by women

All About Women will be taking place on March 4, 2018 at the Sydney Opera House, live-streamed to 25 satellite events across Australia and NZ.

Proudly presented by Westpac - Event Partner of Sydney Opera House and the All About Women Festival.

You don’t need to be at the Sydney Opera House on March 4th to be part of talks and ideas festival, All About Women. Festival audiences around Australia and New Zealand will be able to tune into All About Women highlights which will be live-streamed to 25 community venues, thanks to an expanded satellite program facilitated by Event Partner, Westpac, whose generous support and focus on accessibility will also enable All About Women talks to be Auslan interpreted so that they can be accessible to more audiences.

Locals from Armidale to Alice Springs, and Cairns to Coffs Harbour, will get to experience the main stage action of All About Women including three headline sessions and an exclusive backstage interview conducted by Edwina Throsby, Head of Talks and Ideas, Sydney Opera House with Barbara Kingsolver.

The program:

1pm - 2pm Grabbing back: women in the age of Trump - Francesca Donner, Fran Lebowitz & Sophia Nelson

2.30pm - 3.30pm Choose between: 

a) #metoo: the Making of a Movement - Tarana Burke & Tracey Spicer

b) Beauty as resistance - Rebecca Walker

3.30pm - 4pm Exclusive interview with Kate Bolick

4pm - 5.30pm Suffragettes to social media: waves of feminism - Barbara Caine, Nakkiah Lui, Anne Summers & Rebecca Walker
