Wellness. Everybody is talking about it. From Google to Apple to McKinsey. Even Harvard Business School has now incorporated wellness principles into its leadership programs. But what does ‘wellness’ actually mean? ‘Wellness’ can be thought of being a healthy balance of mind, body and spirit that results in an overall feeling of well-being. In other words, when you feel good, you look good and you live life to your potential. At Fitted for Work we believe, when it comes to work a woman confident in her potential is a force to be reckoned with. That’s why we’ve invited Wellness guru and author, Amanda McMillan, to share her expertise with you. Drawing on a growing evidence-base of research, Amanda will show you how wellness is the sum of intentional activity in eight integrated areas: discovery, nutrition, movement, rest, mind, connection, resources and growth. She will illustrate how these eight dimensions are intertwined, and wholly dependent on each other for maximum productivity. During this interactive event, Amanda will give you tools to achieve that healthier less stressful and more productive work-life balance that often seems so unattainable. And all profits from this event will go directly to Fitted for Work’s free personal outfitting and interview preparation services so that many more women can step out of disadvantage and into work.
